Manila Stocks Top 2012 Returns
Russell Investments said yesterday that Philippine stocks have provided the best return in 2012 up to April 20, among countries covered in its index for the Asia Pacific region.
It notes that Philippine equities returned 23.5%, or more than double the Russell Asia Pacific Index's return of 10.3%. The Philippines is followed by Thailand (22.2%), Singapore (19.1%) and India (17.6%). (Dow Jones)
