Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., South Korea's leading power equipment maker, said Thursday that it has won a US$ 3.9 billion order with the state-run Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO) to provide nuclear reactors to the United Arab Emirates.
In December last year, the KEPCO-led consortium obtained a $ 20 billion deal to design, build and operate four 1,400 megawatt nuclear reactors by 2020 in the UAE.
