Jewellery is a profitable long-term investment?
« on: November 22, 2010, 08:03:16 PM »
Claire Adler. Financial Times. London (UK): Nov 13, 2010. pg. 19

"Whenever we see a piece of high quality contemporary jewellery, we jump on it," says Francois Curiel, head of Christie's jewellery department.

"Our clients search out one-of-a-kind pieces that impress you visually with their exquisite beauty and hold an allure for their unique design," says Nazgol Jahan, worldwide jewellery director at auctioneers Phillips de Pury, which has held solo exhibitions of artist jewellers, Daniel Brush and Frederic Zaavy.

Mr [Viren Bhagat] regularly sells precious pieces via e-mailed sketches. He maintains that jewellery is a profitable long-term investment. "One of my clients told me that three years ago 60 per cent of his wealth was tied up in the stock market. Today, that figure is 20 per cent and he is looking to jewellery to make up the difference," says Mr Bhagat.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

I have an American friend who buys scrap gold.He told me he has some diamonds set aside because they don't bring that much money compared to gold.So gold jewelry is better investment...

Good jewelry is the better investment now that it surges to all-time high.
