Maribojoc, Bohol - Punta Cruz Barangay Captain Faustino dela Serna joined forces with Fish Wardens Nicolas Meguillio, Marcelo Galan Jr., and Eduardo Obenza Jr.; and Barangay Tanod Leopoldo Busa; and in coordination with the police team, in arresting six illegal fishermen catching aquarium fishes along the seawaters of Punta Cruz, this town.
Caught in the act were Zacarias Enoc, Ruel Tradio, Ernesto Enoc, Jaime Tradio, Trifon Tradio and Reneboy Tradio, all of Sta. Rosa, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
Confiscated from them were white pumpboat, fishing gears and other paraphernalia.
The Police released them, though, after the vessel owner, Christopher Allan Tisoy, paid a penalty of P9,000.
