My father , late Vicente Cadigal Sr. was from Minol, Mabini.
During his teenage years he enlisted to the military and was sent to Bataan
where he met my mother and got married. After the WWII they migrated to Phillips, Bukidnon.
But through the years Mabini has been an extension of our lives. I always heard of my father of talking
about my relatives in Minol. It was only in 1978 that I visitted the place when I enrolled in UB.
At first, I don't like the place because of its remoteness to the City and roads were terrible.
Many things had happened in my life since my graduation in Divine Word College. Oh yes, after one semester in UB, I transferred to PMI then to DWC. What a journey huh?
I left Tagbilaran for Olongapo leaving behind many dear friends... most of them very successful now notably Cong. Ed Chatto and others.
Overtime, I've learned to love Mabini and setting my place now where my father have left off.
In my facebook, I am inviting all the Cadigal's to have a Grand Reunion someday.
Always,
Russel "Dodong" Cadigal
