friendship is not a one way process...it is give and take... not only take and take nor give and give..."as others said, it is like a bank account, you cannot withdraw ( get friends, solicit emotions, sympathy,etc. ) if you have not deposited (time, effort, money, emotions, etc.), friendship should be mutually rewarding....

On bad debts? in friendship, we have to learn to segregate what is "hatag or bigay" kay sa "hulam o utang". Kung negligible ra ang amount, we could let it go and consider it tulong o kalooy... mao nga dunay word nga " utang kabubut-on", lisod man pod kon nawong ra ta kug kwarta...

indeed, haze! if matabang pa na memo entry ra unta para dili mahugawan atong financial statements, labing maayo. But yes, I like the idea of a correcting entries. we try to do away without that to minimize entries but if that's what it takes to have a long lasting friendship, then so be it!

money cannot be paid only in return by money...it can be done with loyalty...with support, motivation. We cannot parallel everything, that's is what we call complementary and supplementary...kon wala kwarta atong amigo, then we could help kon naa ta... kay dili raba hibaloan ang panahon, makulob og mahayang raba ... og sa streetlingua pa weather weather lang...but if we have that conviction of helping because we are more priveleged, then we dont have to expect in return...
