Even a pray over didn't stop a grief-stricken modern Romeo from poisoning himself.

A teenager who slept over with church mates after breaking up with his girlfriend was found dead Saturday morning in Tondo, Manila.

Police said Christian Peyra, 18, of 276 San Roque St., Bo. Magsaysay, apparently committed suicide by drinking a chemical for cleaning silver jewelry.

Senior Police Officer 2 Richard Lumbad of the Manila Police District said that at 2 a.m. Peyra told a schoolmate of his 15-year-old girlfriend about their breakup because the girl’s mother was against their relationship.

Peyra reportedly showed a small plastic bottle containing the silver cleaner and revealed his plan to commit suicide.

Then Peyra went to a compound at 154 San Roque St. where he and his friends sleep over for their regular Saturday jog.

One of the victim's friends, Josh Capili, 24, told the police that they were roused at 4 a.m. when Peyra screamed out his girlfriend's name. - Inquirer.net

Up to now, wa pa jud mi kabalo sa real cause sa among family friend na taga Dauis na ga suicide.  She was only 16 years old.  Tapos tawon sa prayers for her early this week.
