I agree, Riva baybee. Gwapa ug gwapo jud mo but it's not the beauty factor that makes a relationship work or not. Just like you Riva and your X,Y, and Z, I couldn't stand a long distance relationship. Permi ko ma mistaken as dalaga! Mag queue jud ang mamisita. Hahahaha! And the same thing with the hubby, ma mistaken as ulitaw and daghan chicks modikit. Temptations are everywhere that's why we're inseparable and have planted locator chips in each other's body. Gawd! But then again, we couldn't generalize things. I still adhere to my belief that relationships are not rooted on physical beauty alone. Womanizing (and 'manizing') is an incurable disease whether the couple is near or far from each other. Bow! ;D

Funny man ka ghost oi. I've a very beautiful friend, a former beauty queen, gi biyaan sa bana for someone really 'jamokmok' ug dagway. The husband is equally good looking. Ngano kaha, nga ang iyang gwapo nga bana, nangita man ug 'bati ug nawong' nga baje? Hahaha. Dili lagi na sa beauty daugon, ghost.

a long distance love affair is difficult to prosper...for even a friend needs a simple pat at the back...and for lovers... it needs a touch as a manifestation of affection...

Some couples are facing this problem unvolutarily due to professions  and/or business ventures.  And this is commonly practised in Europe.... i think it will not really a disadvantage - To build up a stable Family life is not based only in extreme love and romances, but we also need something to chew with.

It is only in the Philippines we commonly says:  Bisag saging basta loving!.....

I would prefer for any oppotunity to know each other better, could it be pre-marital, a frequent visit, a short but meaningful togetherness... quality time... regardless, the bottom line is you give yourself the other the chance to be as open in the whole facets of you....

Pre-marital stage is practised in Europe and some other Western countries...in our own Philippines, it is always shown the holy sacred/perfect marriage life out to the public but....mostly our fellowmen are having a secret the so-called "Kabit" especially those who belongs to the high class of the society.  I had open a site about this theme "Is  divorce only for the rich Pilipinos? - well, the leader of the Church will cruzified us poor Pinoys, isn't?

you can be called kabit if one has already made commitment, but for pre-marital - this could be a venue for knowing each other deeply and then later venture into permanent commitment.

being a kabit is a different story, because you might be aware that you are three in a relationship...

sometimes I have to rationalize why women get into such scenario  (of being kabit), there are reasons behind, (desperate of not having encounter of the same kind?, a victim of forbidden love?, purely of lust?, financial security?, having completeness of life sharing with that special someone... could we blame?
