'Kiss of life' a waste of time?
Would you know how to help someone who was choking or having a heart attack?

Some doctors are warning that giving the 'kiss of life' could be a waste of time, and might even be harmful.

First aid trainers say it's the correct compression of the chest that will help people stay alive.

So, what are the rules? We've sent Richard Westcott to the St John Ambulance centre in Southampton, to learn the basics of first aid.
