terribly so.  my mother when i was 12, then decades later my father and two brothers.  in between, my 5 dogs, 1 turtle, and 2 cats.  each time is terrible.  each time i thought i'd give up all material comforts i have to have them back.  one can never get used to losing a beloved, be it a human being or an animal.

but we all must move on.

I lost my son Joshua Bil on February 2001, he was 4. He is my greatest loss, until now I silently cry at night when I remember him. He is the reason why I don't like Disney World, holidays especially Xmas, because those always remind me of him. The bad part I was in the US when he died. I was not there besides him on his final moments.

He visited me few days ago in my dream, since he died, I never dream of him.In my dream he was holding my hand walking while I was crying...called me Mommy many times. Maybe because he was watching, and he sees the emptiness in my heart. I love you  Joshua...

That is his last photo alive. It was taken inside the plane on the way to Tagbilaran. He was talking to the stewardess. He likes beautiful girls. I used to bring him to my travels so I can spend time with him owing to the nature of my job. But, this pic was our last trip together. We went home for the town fiesta, and  after the fiesta I temporarily left him with my Mom because I was leaving for the States. That was the last time I saw him too...

Wolf,

I am so sorry, and am really touched at this personal experience. There is nothing anyone can say to take away the pain of loosing a loved one, especially a son who was so young. You and your son are in my thoughts and prayers....

I am so sorry...

4 days before my uncle passed away, he visited the grave of my grandparents (the late Mr. Rustico A. Lucino and Mrs. Maria Luz Lucino).
The January of 2009, i just video cammed with him and talked to him. He asked about my medical studies and told me to come back home..kai na mingaw na siya nako. I was hit hard when i found out of his passing.

When I visited him and my anhing papa titing and anhing mama luz, i could not help but cry. I still miss my Uncle Roy..

Fr. I am so sorry to hear of your good friend's passing. Please know that he loved you, and that he was lucky to have seen you again. There is beauty in close and colorful friendship, Father. That kind of friendship does not end in death, and will continue on in the next life.

We give our pains to the Lord, who comforts and pardons the iniquities of sin. And gives mercy to those who die in His Friendship....

Your good friend is in my thoughts and prayers. I am praying and thinking of you too, Father Roel...

May our Lord Jesus Christ grant pardon and mercy to the recently deceased and grant them entrance into His Kingdom in Heaven.
This we ask and pray through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father. Forever and Ever.

Amen.

My heart is aching reading and seeing the last phot of your late son.  Dear wolfpack, as said time heals the wound but life must have to go on.... Hope, you are getting better as time goes by....wish all the best!

I have no more parents.  My everloved Papa died - Feb. 1991 and my everdearest Mama left last Dec. 20, 2009. Now, I feel grown-up enough and that means.....
I will be going to in the future like all of you. We are all mortals.  Lot of good friends left ahead na!  :'(
