Have you ever had a cultural gap with a former gf or bf?
« on: August 24, 2008, 01:40:02 PM »
I just wanted to know if some of you ever dated a person who at first was compatible, but as time progressed showed indifference; or didn't agree to your way of life.

If so, how were you able to deal with it, and if you were able to, how did you move past the cultural divide and differences?

Sa tanan nakong na kulukadidang, ang French (two 2 kulukadidang) ang lahi. They always are dominant...not in our relationship but the cultural aspect of life, which i always never liked for a person. I can get along with them easy but naa jud silay batasan Dodong nga they came from the first civilized country.

haha really? Ooo but is it true that the French are romantic?

For me, I dated a Pakistani girl for like 1 week. Great girl, awesome personality, but as time progressed we had differences in religion that were unbridge-able. She was muslim and I'm Christian. She tried getting me to convert to Islam before. Or talked about the 'wrongs' about my 'faith'.

I dunno. I mean I won't deny that she was a great person, beautiful personality, pero just had strong differences in faith.

We're still good friends to this day. But nothing more than that. Friends, that is.
