Dear _______,
its been 14 years now since that most unforgettable day of my life happened. It was my first date. I can still feel the butterflies in my stomach the very moment I saw you coming in our meeting place that day, you're so handsome wearing a cap. You were late that day but you have a reasonable reason

I still remember the movie we watched and you told me you want to hold my hands but you're just ashamed to do so because you have a rough hands

I did not react but deep inside I want to tell you that I don't care if your hands were rough, I want you to hold my hands. We are still in high school that time, so young and so naive. I know a lot, as in a lot of girls like you,not only in our school but even in other schools but you choose to have a date with me that day, that was 4 days after valentines day. I felt so pretty that day and I am sure a lot of girls envied me. But, after that you went to Cebu to study college and we haven't meet since then, it was our first and last date. I've heard a lot about you, I also have a lot of chance to contact you but I decided to just forget you because I can see were not meant for each other for "layo na kaayo ato agwat". And "kinsa ra ko na imo angayan karon" You're now very successful living in the west, and me Im still here in Bohol living a very simple and down to earth life. Im just happy to remember na once in my life I had a date with you. I will forever be inspired and "kilig" that memories.
I know it is now impossible for us to be "us" but I want you to know that whatever I felt for you that day is still the same up to this very moment and I know it will stay forever. It may sound corny but i could say "first love never dies"

I hope time will come we will have a chance to really talk about it, not so we can be "us" but so we can put a closure and so I can completely get over this..
