May 2019: Bohol Gov. Edgar Chatto and Mayor Elvi Peter Relampagos lead blessing and launching of TaRSIER117 sub-office in Loon with Board Member Ricky Masamayor, Provincial Administrator Ae Damalerio, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management officer Anthony Damalerio and TaRSIER117 head Mark Sidney Galia.
The TaRSIER117 sub-office is the 6th emergency response office, the main being in Tagbilaran City and sub-offices in Jagna, Carmen, Ubay, and Balilihan.
Established in 2011, TaRSIER117 has become a byword in emergency service delivery. The new sub-office will serve 252 barangays of Loon and neighboring towns of Maribojoc, Calape, and Tubigon.
The team underwent DOH accredited training and have also familiarized routes of areas covered, ready to start operations.
