ZAMBOANGA CITY -- The city government has completed the construction of the PhP5.1 million barangay hall in Limpapa, this city’s last village that borders the province of Zamboanga del Norte.
Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar unveiled the project on Friday that coincided with the conduct of the “Dia del Alcalde (Mayor’s Day),” a free service caravan.
The caravan included the conduct of medical and dental outreach mission.
The construction of the two-storey barangay hall with 323.26 square meter area was undertaken by a private contractor under the supervision of the City Engineer’s Office.
Along with the barangay hall, also included in the project were the construction of the cistern tank and elevated water tank structure.
Salazar urged barangay officials of Limpapa, headed by Antonio Lacaser, to likewise continue supporting the local government’s priority thrust on security, health and education.
Salazar said the construction of the project is in line with the city government’s continuing support to the barangays. (PNA)
