RANK NO. 1 MOST WANTED PERSON (PROVINCIAL LEVEL) OF BILIRAN NABBED BY JOINT OPERATIVES IN KAWAYAN
Press Release: Biliran Police Provincial Office, Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran: PCOL JOEL T SERRANO, Acting PD, BPPO commends the joint operatives from PIU Biliran (Lead Unit), Kawayan MPS, 2nd Biliran PMFP, CIDG Biliran PFU, PIT Biliran, RIU8 and Leyte Norte PHPT for the successful arrest of Rank 1 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level) of Biliran on April 1, 2021 at around 6:45 AM at Brgy. San Lorenzo, Kawayan, Biliran.
According to initial report, operation stemmed from an information from a confidential informant which after confirmation of the report and monitoring of suspect whereabouts, police operatives plotted the operation, and suspect was finally arrested.
Said wanted person is a 51 years old, male, filipino, married, farmer, a resident of the aforementioned place.
Accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Article 248 of Revise Penal Code (Murder) under Criminal Case No. N-4092 issued by Hon. Luz P Navarette, Presiding Judge of 8th Judicial Region, Branch 16, Naval, Biliran dated March 25, 2021 with no recommended bail bond.
Subsequently, arrested person was brought to Kawayan Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
Our Police Force will keep on hunting them, within or even outside the province” says PCOL JOEL T SERRANO, Acting Provincial Director. He also commends the operating troops for the success of the operation and further stated that the arrest of suspect will served as a warning to criminals.
