USA ka construction worker gi­patay sa iyang kauban tungod lang sa pandesal kagahapon sa buntag.

Ang biktima nga usa ka construction worker nikuha sa pandesal nga gikasuko sa anak sa tindera kay nagtuo siyang wa mananghid sa pagkuha sa pandesal.

Si Glenn Abellare, 44, minyo, taga Sitio Sto. Niño, Brgy. Kinasang-an, Cebu City, namatay diha-diha alas 8:20 kagahapon sa buntag sulod sa NBG Construction site, N. Bacalso Ave., Poblacion Pardo, dakbayan sa Sugbo.

Samtang ang suspek giilang si Arnel Montes, 35, kauban ra usab nga construction worker sa biktima.

Usa sa mga saksi sa hitabo nga nahinabi sa usa ka sibyaanan sa radio niingon nga sa wa pa ang hitabo, ang suspek nikuha og usa ka pandesal nga tinda sa laing tindera.

Ang tindera nga maoy inahan ni Montes giingong dunay gilakaw, apan matod sa saksi nga didto kaniya nananghid si Abellare nga mokuha siyag pandesal.

Human nikuha ug nikaon, nipalit pa og P1 nga tubig ang biktima aron mainom niya.

terrible.  obviously the pan de sal is just the excuse.  there's more to this than that ubiquitous bread as hubag says. 

meanwhile, other newspapers with enough respect for fellow human beings would have pixelated the face of the victim in the picture.  unfortunately, he's not a relative of the news reporter or his colleagues or, for that matter, a politician.  ordinary laborers thus may be respected less this way, huh?

na-shock gyod hinoon ko.  i teared up a bit looking at that face in your original post.  what if he were someone i knew?  how did his relatives react looking at that image?
