Ford Philippines formally turned over to Tacurong City the LGU’s newly purchased Ford Transit Ambulance, the first vehicle of its kind to be converted into an ambulance in Mindanao.
In its Facebook Page, the Department of Transportation mentioned that this new ambulance unit is one of the most modern ambulances in the country.
LGU Tacurong City purchased it at P3.15 million and, aside from its size advantage, comes equipped with a medical wall wide cabinet, collapsible stretcher, a divider with a sliding window, a stainless-steel ramp, defibrillator, nebulizer, and various medical consumables.
This unit may also support the present COVID-19-related operations of the Incident Management Team.
