SUD lamang sa kapin tulo ka bulan, 75 na ka tawo ang gipamatay sa riding in tandem nga mamumuno dinhi sa siyudad subay sa listahan sa Sun.Star Davao Superbalita.

Pinakaulahing biktima mao si Archie Ladera, 32, minyo, trisikad driver, nagpuyo sa Block 53, Barangay 21-C Poblacion, siyudad sa Davao.

Si Ladera gipusil patay sa wa mailhing mga mamumuno ala 1:00 sa hapon kagahapon, Miyerkules, didto sa Aurora, Barangay 33-C Pobalcion.

Suma sa nakasaksi, natulog ang biktima sa bangko sa tindahan apan kalit miabot ang mamumuno dayon gipusil ang biktima sa ulo ug kamot mao nga patay nang miabot sa tambalanan.

Nasayran nga ang biktima apil sa mga tawo nga naa sa listahan sa Oplan Tuktok Hangyo (Oplan Tukhang) sa kapulisan tungod kay nalambigit sa gidiling druga.

Niadtong alas 4:15 sa hapon sa Martes, gipatay usab ang giingong bread winner sa iyang pamilya didto sa Lapu-Lapu St., Barangay Agdao Proper, Agdao District.

Ang Sta. Ana Police Station nag-ila sa biktima nga si Moreto Sumalpong Liwa, 21, ulitawo, residente sa Gotamco, Barangay Leon Garcia.

Subay sa gihimong imbestigasyon ni Senior Police Officer 1 Restie Tan sa Sta. Ana Police Station, migula nga mi-parking ang biktima sa iyang gimaneho nga traysikel sa dapit.

Kalit mihunong ang usa ka motorsiklo nga walay plaka dayon gipusil ang sa makadaghang higayon biktima sa angkas sa motorsiklo.

Nakaangkon og lima ka samad pinusilan ang biktima hinungdan sa iyang kamatayon.

Human sa panghitabo, daling mipadagan sa motorsiklo ang duha ka mamumuno padung sa Torres St.

Si Charmine Liwa, igsuon sa biktima, nagbutyag dihang gihinabi sa Bombo Radyo Davao nga di niya madawat ang nahitabo sa igsuon sanglit mao kini ang mitabang kanila sa inadlaw nga panginahanglan.

Samtang gisuwat kining balita, padayon pang giimbestigahan ang kamatayon sa duha ka mga biktima nga maoy ika-75 nga gipatay sukad Hulyo 1.

pastilan gyod ning motorcycle riding-in-tandem murders tawon uy.  nahimo na man ning cottage industry sa ato. 

lisod gyod tingali i-implement tong plano to disallow riding-in-tandem on motorcycles.  mag-unsa na lang ang mga amahan nga mag-motorcycle paghatod-kuha sa ilang anak sa eskwelahan.  mag-unsa na lang ang habal-habal drivers.

meantime, these grisly murderers for hire continue to operate.

Something like this happened in Bohol, too, Inday Jenneth. I remember over-hearing some members of the Valencianhon community a couple of years back. Family members (surname was Uy) who were victims of these so called drive-by shootings. The victims were business folk carrying cash in their minivans to the bank; somehow these so called guns for hire shot the brother and sister dead. Stole the money and left the scene. I don't know if the crime ever was solved.

Mag pabantay gajod ta. Especially if one is carrying a lot of cash on hand. Og maka kita ang mali nga tawo ana, na, we don't know what can manifest in their minds. Thoughts and ideations of malice and vice can appear.
