#3rdBatch: As one of our responses to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Government of Maasin, headed by our City Mayor Nacional V. Mercado, continues to distribute five (5) kilos of rice to the following as our way of supporting our habal-habal or multicab drivers who have less or no income for the past months:
For habal-habal drivers association:
a. SARAHADA ASSOCIATION President – Raniel Vasques; and
b. REZCAM ASSOCIATION President – Romil Fernandez.
For multicab drivers association:
a. MBTC COOPERATIVE President – Antonio Gonzales; and
b. MMTC COOPERATIVE President – Roland Uy.
Present throughout the distribution were City Vice- Mayor Maloney Samaco and City Counselors – Hon. Hon. Jezzene Gail Paler, Hon. Zaldy Olita, Hon. Melvin Dublan, and Hon. Pepito Heneran.
