Students and visitors both local and foreign have now added reasons to enjoy their visit to the Capitol Complex including the beachfront with the recent installation there of Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) Internet.
Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. said people who visit the Capitol area can now avail of a free access to the internet.
He said the installation is a welcome development because the Wi-Fi is an added feature serving the needs of students as well as to attract more visitors to the Capitol.
This, he said, enables students and visitors to avail of free internet access anytime of the day once they are inside the Capitol Complex.
The provincial government has installed two internet routers at the front and back of the Capitol so that users can access the internet whether they are at the Capitol Plaza or at the beachfront.
Gov. Espino said the installed routers have a range of 350 meters and a band width of 1 mbps each.
He said the Capitol Wi-Fi, which is now in full-blast operation, has been opened to the public since August. - pna
