GUIGUINTO, Bulacan, Jan. 1 (PNA) -- A pretty member of the Baywalk Bodies was found dead with a gunshot wound in the head at the northbound lane of the North Luzon Expressway in Barangay Tabang here on New Year’s eve.
Police identified the victim as Rejoice Rivera, 26, a native of Malolos City .
Investigators of the Guiguinto police station said the victim, whose real name is Dianne Marie Santos, was found wearing a gray shirt and maong short pants. Her wallet and mobile phone were missing.
Rivera was positively identified by relatives at the morgue of a local funeral parlor in Malolos City.
Nieves Santos, mother of the victim, said she last talked with her daughter on Dec. 28, telling her that somebody would fetch her at their house in Malolos City.
It was also learned that somebody had earlier sent the victim a gift package but she did not accept it.
The family of the victim said Rejoice was a kind and happy person and had no known enemy. - pna
