Proposed Division of Bacolod City Into Two Districts
« on: November 11, 2010, 09:42:52 PM »
Bacolod City Lone District Rep. Anthony M. Golez said the proposed division of Bacolod City into two districts means more fund coming from the national government.

“Two districts would mean more social services for Bacolod and more funding coming from the national government,” Golez in a statement released to the local media stated.

Golez explained that his proposal for dividing the city into two legislative districts has no political motive.

The first termer solon is expected to file the bill titled “An Act Providing for the Apportionment of the Lone Legislative District of the City of Bacolod” within the week or as soon as all the documentary requirements have been completed. (PNA)
