Press Release - Ormoc City Mayor Richard I. Gomez attended a meeting of the Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) today, March 15, 2021.
The body deliberated and decided on improvements to the city's chicken and pork rates.
They agreed that the chicken retail price should be Php 160.00 per kilo, and the distributor’s price is at Php 150.00, while the pork’s kasim/pigue price should be Php 270.00 and the liempo at Php 300.00, pursuant to Presidential Executive Order No. 124.
For now, 60 days have been given for reconsideration to the integrators, and then convene integrators again like Janile, Bounty, and Danica. For this meeting, only Magnolia was present as the integrator involved.
Most members of the LPCC were present during the said meeting.
