Philippine Red Cross Responds Bombing in Jolo Sulu
« on: December 26, 2010, 06:35:04 PM »
Philippine Red Cross (PRC) said Saturday its Emergency Response Unit (ERU) responded to a bombing incident in Jolo, Sulu by bringing the victims to a hospital.

PRC Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang, through PRC Power Text, relayed to PRC National Headquarters the bomb blast at Asturias Church, PC Compound, Jolo, Sulu around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Immediately, the PRC Sulu Chapter provided patient conduction and ambulance service to the victims.

Based on Pang’s message, the fretful event left a total of 9 casualties — mostly suffering from injuries on the lower extremities due to debris implosion.

The victims were identified as Romy Reyes, Antoinette Quinones, Dr. Marian Lao, Rachelle Ann Carlos, Noel Engada, Emma Tan, Fr. Ricky Bacolcol, Joshua Quibang and Fr. Romeo Villanueva

PRC’s most recent report said the casualties were taken to Sulu Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) and Armed Forces of the Philippines Trauma Center for immediate medical treatment. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
