The new chief of the Philippine National Police in Davao Oriental has just been installed today in a simple change of command ceremony held during the Workshop of the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict at the Grand Men Seng Hotel in Davao City.

Incoming Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office Provincial Director Police Colonel Joselito Leano Loriza has assumed command replacing outgoing Provincial Director Police Colonel Marcial Mariano Magistrado III who is set to proceed to his next assignment.

Also assuming command is the incoming PNP Provincial Director of PNP Davao de Oro Police Colonel Roberto Alanas.

The Change of Command Ceremony was officiated by PNP Regional Director Police Brigadier General Filmore Escobal and was witnessed by the local chief executives of the provinces in Davao Region, including Davao Oriental Governor Nelson Dayanghirang, Davao de Oro Governor Jayvee Tyron Uy, Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib, and Davao del Sur Governor Douglas Cagas; regional directors of the different national agencies, Eastern Mindanao Command Chief Major General Jose Faustino, Jr.,  and other guests.
