On February 14, 2022, the launching of the Pediatric Vaccination for 5-11 years old was conducted at Robinsons Place Marasbaras, spearheaded by the Tacloban City Hospital.
The event started at 8:30 in the morning with 2 teams, one for the pediatric population and the other for the adult population.
15 vials of the Pfizer vaccine were allotted to the pediatric population while 53 vials of the Sinovac vaccine, 3 vials of the Astrazeneca vaccine, and 2 vials of the Pfizer vaccine were ready to be administered to the adult population.
The Tacloban LGU was in full support of this activity. In addition, the DOH Tacloban Capacity Development Team was present to witness the said event. ARD Rodolfo Antonio M. Albornoz also visited the site to monitor the inoculation of the vaccines.
