Press Release from PNP: WANTED DRUG DEALER NABBED IN PANGASINAN
Police anti-drug operatives arrested another wanted person who has been operating his distribution network of illegal drugs in areas of Mabalacat City, Pampanga, and Tarlac Province.
According to PBGen Ronald Lee, Director of PNP Drug Enforcement Group, its Special Operating Unit 1 launched an arrest operation Thursday morning in Sison, Pangasinan on EDWARD FLORES DE LEON, who is the subject of a warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Stela Marie Gandia-Asuncion, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 67 in Paniqui, Tarlac dated November 19, 2020, for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
His live-in partner Rose Ann Quirante was also arrested for her alleged involvement in illegal drug activity.
Based on the police report, De Leon went to Pangasinan to hide from his criminal liability with his live-in partner who hailed from Brgy Asan Sur in Sison town.
These two suspects were continuously operating their illegal business in Mabalacat City, and Tarlac province area particularly in Moncada town, Lee noted.
The two are temporarily detained at Sison Municipal Police Station and will be brought to Tarlac for proper disposition.
