PR: Ormoc City Mayor Richard I. Gomez together with a few members of the 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Ormoc attended the Distribution of Allowances to Public School Teachers held at the Ormoc Superdome earlier this morning, April 15.
The objective of the aforesaid activity is to distribute the quarterly allowance for the first quarter (January-March 2021).
The program's beneficiaries are 2,314 DepEd Ormoc City Division teaching and teaching-related personnel from all Ormoc schools in Districts 1-10.
The total budget for the entire year is Php 13M, with each beneficiary receiving Php 1,500 per quarter.
This program is organized by the Education and Scholarship Office.
This is through the efforts of Mayor Richard I. Gomez and the members of the 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod led by Vice Mayor Leo Carmelo L. Locsin, Jr.
The source of fund is derived from the General Fund (Other Professional Services).
