DOTr and PPA started the construction of Opol Port in 2017 to help address port congestion at the Cagayan de Oro Port.
Now, construction of Opol Port is COMPLETE! This means movement of food, goods and cargo is faster and more efficient!
Project was completed in June 2019, which involves the construction of reinforced concrete (RC) wharf, back-up area, access road, and the supply and installation of port lighting system. It has a 7,000 square meters yard area and 150 meters berth length.
