Tarlac’s most wanted person falls

MONCADA, Tarlac, July 30 (PNA) -- One of the most wanted persons in this province finally fell into the hands of the law.

John Paul Madriaga, 20, a resident of this town, was arrested Wednesday in Dolores, Abra after three years of hiding.

Madriaga, who is listed no. 10 in the provincial list of Tarlac and No. 1 priority target list of wanted persons this town, was involved in the robbery and killing of 77-year-old Irineo Grajes on March 5, 2012.

Acting Judge Jose S. Vallo of Regional Trial Court Branch 67 of Paniqui, Tarlac issued a warrant of arrest against Madriaga on July 9, 2012.

Police Chief Inspector Edison Pascasio said they received information on Madriaga’s whereabouts through a concerned citizen.

Pascasio said he immediately formed a tracker team with his deputy, police Senior Inspector Jose Natividad, Jr. as the team leader and immediately proceeded to Abra that resulted in the arrest of Madriaga.

The suspect did not resist arrest but denied involvement in the killing of Grajes.

He is now detained at the Moncada Police Station jail awaiting for the court order of his transfer at the Tarlac Provincial Jail.

Meanwhile, Senior Supt. Alex B. Sintin, provincial director of Tarlac PNP, congratulated the Moncada Police for the arrest of one of the most wanted personalities in the province.

Sintin said this is a result of the full implementation of the Oplan Lambat Sibat and with lateral good coordination with other agencies and police units in other areas of the Philippines. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
