Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) targets finish installing soon new road signs that'll help promote safer and easier travel here and in other areas of Cordillera region.
City engineering district chief Ireneo Galleto noted the signs are needed since those installed years earlier are already partially damaged due to vandalism and exposure to natural elements.
Many motorists complain about road signs in the Cordilleras at present, saying what's written on these are hardly visible particularly at night.
Drivers of vehicles involved in mishaps note such signs and the fog increase the risk for road accidents. (PNA)
