At least 50 families were rendered homeless when a fire believed to be caused by faulty electrical wiring hit an informal settlers’ community in Barangay Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City Monday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Text Fire Philippines (TFP) said.
BFP and TFP said the blaze, which reached Task Force Alpha, began shortly after 1 p.m. in one of the houses along Quirino Highway near Seminary Road. It was still raging as of 3:10 p.m. (PNA)
