A fire of still unknown origin destroyed the two-story KMCC Mall in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato Monday morning.
Initial reports from radio DXMY here said the fire started at around 8:35 a.m. at a neighboring hardware store and quickly spread to the mall and a local bank.
Loud explosions were heard from inside the mall amid the ongoing blaze, the reports said.
Fire trucks from various parts of the province rushed to the area to help contain the fire.
There were no immediate reports of casualties in the incident. (PNA)
