Details are still emerging in the recent wave of violence that transpired yesterday, 29 August 2020, at around 12 noon with nine (9) people end up dead in what appears to be a mass shooting in Kabacan Municipality, Province of Cotabato.
Governor Nancy A. Catamco was quick and clear to condemn these senseless killings. She has made a direct order to the Provincial Director of Philippine National Police to come up with an in-depth investigation report of the incident.
Meantime, Gov. Nancy Catamco would wish to appeal to everyone to stay calm and to refrain from making speculations that would tend to muddle the investigation.
The Provincial Government will continue to strengthen peace, security and order as the essential mechanisms for inclusive growth of the province, Gov. Nancy A. Catamco said.
