Suspected New People’s Army (NPA) rebels attacked a police outpost in Sagay City Friday night.
Eight armed men reportedly barged in to community police action center in Barangay Vito in Sagay City in Negros Occidental Friday 6:30 p.m.
The armed men took the M14 rifles of two members of special civilian active auxiliary who were then manning the outpost.
A police report said the suspects looked like fishermen in the area.
The report said that the suspects fled using a pump boat. It also said the armed men had a blocking force that was set up in other parts of the barangay. - abs-cbn
