The provincial government will host next week a Basic Tourism Statistics Training, through the Provincial Tourism Office (PTO), in celebration of the World Tourism Day.
The theme of the World Tourism Day is “Tourism and Sustainable Energy: Powering Sustainable Development.
Slated on Sept. 25-27, 2012, the provincial government under the administration of Governor Baham Mitra, aims to focus attention to the collection of important information and data regarding tourism.
The provincial government also wants statistical development and structures for tourism to keep pace with the changes in nature and significance of tourism and its capacities for future growth.
