WANTED PERSON NABBED BY JOINT OPERATIVES IN NAVAL, BILIRAN
Press Release: Biliran Police Provincial Office, Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran: Wanted Person falls into the hands of authority through its relentless efforts to carry its mandated tasks to enforce the law and place lawless elements behind bars.
Relative thereto, elements of Naval MPS and BPPO Tracker Team conducted a joint intel-driven manhunt operation at Sitio Hayahay, Brgy. Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran on June 15, 2021 at around 10:40 AM which resulted to the arrest of one Jessica Vaporoso y Sambitan, 50 years old, Filipino, female, jobless, and a resident of the aforementioned place.
Said wanted person was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Article 358 (Slander/Oral Defamation) of Revised Penal Code dated June 10, 2021 docketed under Criminal Case No. 4245 issued by Hon. Phenalyn P Brazil-Abellar, Presiding Judge of Municipal Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Naval, Biliran with recommended bail bond of Php 18,000.00 for her temporary liberty.
Subsequently, arrested person was brought to Naval Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
PCOL JOEL T SERRANO, Acting Provincial Director, BPPO commends the operating troops for the success of the operation and further stated that the arrest of Vaporoso will serve as a warning to all to properly behave and be a law abiding citizen of the province.
