The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in Eastern Samar proclaimed last night re-electionist Ben Evardone as Governor and Maricar Sison-Goteesan as Vice Governor of the province. The COMELEC has also proclaimed Ma. Fe Abunda as Representative of the Lone District of Eastern Samar.
Majority of Governor Evardone’s line up for Sangguniang Panlalawigan were also proclaimed by the COMELEC.
Governor Evardone in a statement expressed his heartfelt gratitude for all his supporters for giving him a fresh mandate. He vowed to continue his programs on health, agriculture, social services, education, tourism, and employment to further uplift the lives of his constituents.
