A magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit portions of Western Visayas around 10:48 in the evening of Friday.
Intensity 4 was recorded in Mandurriao and Jaro districts here likewise in Lemery, Iloilo a report from the Philippine Institute of Volcanic and Seismologist (Phivolcs) obtained from the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) here stated.
Simultaneously, Intensity 3 was also felt in Guimaras, Oton, Iloilo; Bacolod City and Hinigaran, Binalbagan, La Carlota City and Bago, City in Negros Occidental.
The quake’s epicenter was located 10.7 kilometers (km) north, 122.52 km east and three km northwest of Iloilo City.
The OCD here disclosed that no damages due to the incident have been recorded. (PNA)
