Press Release: Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), represented by Director General, Isidro S. LapenĚa, Ph. D., CSEE, spearheaded the launching of Project LAMRAG (Liwanang at Malasakit, Ramdan ang Asenso at Ginhawa) today, March 22, 2021, in partnership with the City Government of Maasin, Provincial Government of Southern Leyte, led by Gov. Damian Mercado and Congressman Roger Mercado. This project will be piloted in the following barangay: (a) Brgy. Bactul I, (b) Brgy. Matin-ao, and (c) Brgy. Baugo.
Project LAMRAG is a program for convergence between the TESDA and the Department of Energy (DOE), together with the member-agencies of the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood, and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) under the Southern Leyte Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist-Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC).
The project aims to provide the necessary skills for the intended beneficiaries in PV Systems Installation NC II, a training program designed to provide the necessary skills in the installation of a photovoltaic system or solar system.
