Drug Den Busted in Tagbilaran City; 4 Nabbed
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol - A drug den was busted by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Barangay Bool, Tagbilaran City on Tuesday night.
According to PDEA Bohol Provincial Office, they conducted a buy-bust operation at Purok 7 around 9:15 p.m., targeting Alberto Gomez, who was identified as the drug den maintainer.
Gomez and his live-in partner Evangeline Infanso were arrested during the operation. Two other suspects, Archie Amasura and Junrel Vailoces, who were visiting the drug den, were also apprehended.
The operatives seized eight packs of suspected shabu weighing around 12 grams with an estimated market value of P81,600. They also recovered buy-bust money, cash believed to be proceeds of illegal drug transactions, a cellular phone and various drug paraphernalia.
The suspects will face charges for violation of Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
