Rape suspect arrested in PRO7's Oplan "Huli-days" and CIDG's Oplan Pagtugis
The Joint operation of CIDG Cebu City Field Unit (Lead), CMFC, CCPO, and RIU 7 resulted to the arrest of 41 year-old from Brgy. Pahina Central, cebu City. The suspect has a standing warrant of arrest for Violation of RA 8353 also known as the ANTI-RAPE LAW OF 1997. The Arrest Warrant was issued by HON. JOSE NATHANIEL SALAZAR ANDAL, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 24, Cebu City, dated October 25, 2022, and NO BAIL was recommended.
The suspect is tagged as the Top # 5 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level) in relation to CIDG OPLAN PAGTUGIS and PRO 7 OPLAN "HULI-DAYS”.
"We will be more relentless in pursuing these wanted persons in order to bring them to the courts for justice to be served. We will continuously update the list of wanted persons in regional and provincial levels," says P/BGen. Roderick Augustus Alba, PRO7 Regional Director.
