PIA DAVAO DE ORO: Alyas Cailyn, former rebel, joined today the declaration of the CPP-NPA-NDF as persona non grata in the town of Mabini. She was recruited to join the communist movement because she was convinced that her problem as a battered wife will be solved by group. She said that even without a degree, she was assigned to be a dentist in an outreach and extracted teeth of two persons. She surrendered last 2018 because she has doubts already on the principles and actions of the movement. She recalled that the mother of one of her former comrades almost died in a hospital because the promised support from the movement was not given to them. (mlu)
