Today, 1,170 doses of the first batch of Pfizer Vaccines arrived from Manila! Encased in 1 storage box with 1 tray containing 195 vials equating to 1,170 doses, the vaccines landed at the DZR Airport in Tacloban city at exactly 8:20 in the morning and was received by the Department of Health Eastern Visayas.
These vaccines will be transported to the Ormoc City LGU's cold storage facility and will be used for the Pilot Implementation of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccination in the region. To date, Eastern Visayas has received a total of 311,940 doses of COVID-19 Vaccines.
