PRO7 TOP COP LAUDS TALISAY CITY POLICE's SWIFT ACTION ON RECENT SHOOTING INCIDENT
PRO7 Director Police Brigadier General Roderick Augustus Alba lauded Talisay City Police Office on Thursday, October 20, on its swift action on the case of Alvin Cuer Cinco, a helper vendor who was killed last October 18 at Tabunok Public Market, Brgy. Tabunok, Talisay City, in a press briefing held at CPPO Conference Room, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City.
"The capability of the police force to serve and protect the community has been demonstrated here by their quick action in pursuing the suspect. I commended the police for the immediate arrest of the principal suspect in the recent shooting incident customizing a helper vendor in Talisay City, Cebu," he said.
Currently, the suspect is under the custody of the Talisay City Police Station while a case of Murder will be filed against Jonar Ortiz Villagonzalo of Brgy. Liboo, Ronda, Cebu.
The resolution of the case shows that by collaboration and cooperation of the PNP and the community, we can sustain the peace and security of Cebu Province. The essence of peace and security framework towards the development of the CPNP, MKK=K, and the KASIMBAYANAN program.
"To carry on this framework, we have to connect to the community, establish and maintain good relations so that in times of incident like this, we can assure of their support and cooperation," added PBGen Alba.
