Key officials in Cebu and the region gathered for another emergency meeting today, May 28, 2021 with Governor Gwen Garcia after Malacañang ordered to divert international flights bound for Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) to Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila starting May 29 until June 5, 2021.
Garcia is scheduled to meet with President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang on Monday, a meeting arranged by OPAV Secretary Michael Dino. She will be joined by Sec. Dino, IATF-MEID Deputy Chief implementor for the Visayas Ret. General Mel Feliciano, DOH Regional Director Dr. Jaime Bernadas and DOH7 Chief Pathologist Dr. Mary Jean Loreche.
