MORE BORONGAN RESIDENTS ARE NEEDING COVID-19 VACCINATION
Press Release - 28 May 2021, Friday - Today, at the Baybay Boulevard Vaccination Site, close to 200 residents showed up to receive the vaccine of any brand, but only 80 doses were available.
Again, several would-be vaccinees were sent home with apology. They were however informed that another schedule of vaccination activity will be done, as soon as these vaccines are given by DOH8-PHO Eastern Samar.
City Mayor Jose Ivan Dayan Agda, once more appeals for an increased number of vaccine allocations, because of the fact and as evidenced again, in today's inoculation, that more interested residents returned home, unvaccinated.
With the 80 vaccines, all consumed in less than 2-hours since the site opened today, it is estimated that the particular Vaccination Site in the boulevard area, can easily finish a total of 1,600 dose in a day.
"We appeal for more vaccines. The confidence level is now high. Our people are wilĖling to be protected from the virus, give us more vaccines," Mayor Agda appeals. #
