Other body parts were also found in Lapu-Lapu City Wednesday. "May torso, leg, an arm, but we list them as body parts," Cebu Disaster Management Chief Niel Sanchez said.
Forty-five others remain missing, over 20 of whom are children.
A total of 831 people were on board the M/V St. Thomas Aquinas, 715 of whom were passengers while 116 were crew members, when it collided with Sulpicio Express Siete, last August 16.
The Sulpicio vessel, which carried 36 crew members, sustained damage but did not sink.
The collision also caused an oil spill. A team of technical divers have been deployed to stop the leak.
Over 200 military, coastguard and police are also helping mop up a large oil spill that has leaked from the sunken ferry, polluting valuable mangroves, fishing grounds and popular beach resorts. -- Report from Dexter Ganibe, dzMM; With report from Ron Gagalac, ABS-CBN News; Agence France-Presse
