The fastest way to get to Biliran is to book a flight to tacloban. Then take a bus from Tacloban to Naval route  (capital of Biliran). May opt for vans which are faster (2hours trip) fare: 120-130php. Getting around: the habal-habal (motorcycle) is the most common mode of transportation as most of the roads outside the main highway are rough.

Actually, I think the fastest way to reach Biliran is by ferry from Pier 3 in Cebu to Naval. There are a couple of ferries that do the Cbu-Biliran route a couple of times a week. I don't know all their names though. The only ferry I remember is named St. Michael. The ferry ride takes about 5-6 hours.

Agta beach is nice enough, but the sand is brown.

(ooops, sorry, murag mas dali diay kung mag plane from Cbu to Tacloban, mas hasol lang)

haha! (i didn't think of that) kana fastest way which is cebu-naval via boat.. i got used to answering them with tacloban.. taclobanon man gud.

I've been to agta beach also. the scene and the beach formation is nice jud! c2, do you remember the road in going down to that beach? i swear! it's like a slide. aw literally, slide jud! it was too inclined and too long no?! a straight inclined road..lol

Mao bitaw, makalilisang gyud padulong didto ai. Ok btaw mga rock formations didto sa Agta. It is also quite peaceful. Biliran, all in all, is a really beautiful island. I wish to go back someday and see more of it.

Is Biliran in Leyte?

I've always thought it was a whole separate province. It's just Biliran province to me.

Anyways, it's just a technicality. It's still a beautiful, beautiful little gem.

PS. Biliranons are awfully proud of their water. They say it's the best tasting water in the country.
