PROVIDING A SAFE AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT FOR TOURISTS: NEW BATCH OF POLICE OFFICERS GRADUATE AS TOURIST POLICE
Thirty-four (34) police officers from seven (7) local government units of Davao Oriental are now certified tourist police after completing their 7-day training on Tourism-Oriented Police for Community Order and Protection (TOPCOP).
The police officers received their certificates at the graduation ceremony held on October 14 at the Provincial Tourism Annex, Mati City.
The program, which was made possible through the partnership between the Davao Oriental Provincial Police Office (DOPPO) in coordination with the Department of Tourism XI and the provincial government of Davao Oriental through its Provincial Tourism Office, aims to provide a safe and secure environment for tourists.
